There was a circulated photo of a vulture waiting for a starving Sudanese little girl to die and feast on her during the 1993 famine in Sudan.
The photo was taken by Kevin Carter, a South African photojournalist who later won the Pulitzer Prize for this amazing shot (edited and left out here because of its inhumane posture).
Kevin however lived just a few months to enjoy his supposed achievement because he later got depressed and took his own life!
He was savouring his feat and he was being celebrated on major news channels and networks worldwide for such an “exceptional” photographic skill.
His depression started when, during one of the interviews he granted (a phone-in program), someone phoned in and asked him what happened to the child. Kevin replied, “ I didn’t wait to find out after this shot as I had a flight to catch” and the person replied, “ I put it to you that there were two vultures on that day; one had a camera.”
His constant thought of that statement led to depression and his ultimate suicide.
So, are you a vulture?
In whatever we do, we should let humanity come first before what we can gain out from our work or situation. Kevin Carter could have been alive today and even more be celebrated if he had just picked that little girl up to the United Nations feeding center where she was attempting to reach.
IN ALL WE DO, LET US ALWAYS THINK OF OTHERS AND HOW WE CAN BE OF BENEFIT TO HUMANITY.
How we can lend A helping hand and wipe tears 😭 . And when we seek knowledge, wealth, or even elective office or anything that we are in charge of, let us think of how we can use it to benefit people most.
A new you is possible.
A new world 🌎 is possible.
Think of what you can add more than what you can take!
This is against humanity and it’s a violation to human rights.
According to multitude eyes witnesses and global thoughts on the incident happened, it’s wrong to take life or let’s say that this has to be handled in a way that shows people respect the laws and regulations, the international laws on violations of human rights which is a global concerned. Well it has happened as we all have seen it on various tv shows, are we gonna call for justice or we gonna ignore them and counted on them as their fault? Immigrants are not to be killed, immigrants are to be handled by the migrations department of a certain country and if the policy of that country did not engaged to cooperate, then migrants has to be relocated or send back to where the came from “peaceful and protected”. It’s gonna be the darkest time to the family of those who lost their life in the incident of human trafficking . Let’s all take this time to stand with mourners . May their soul rest in peace 🥲
With an exceptions of everything that one’s can go through it in life, it can not change the direction of our heart from being a kind hearted to our fellow human beings. Life has no shape, volume, size nor colour and in regards to whatever one’s can do, do it with love for the people. We all have a problems but sometimes the solutions to solve individuals’ problem is with someone from a very far end of the planet earth. Therefore if you are running a certain job or any voluntary work that requires you to provide or in charge of information or any satisfying solutions to the people, do it with love and free from conditioning or social priced. Positively our world needs us to invest into ourselves, moving uniformly forward without discriminating nor self love. Am posting this in connection with world human rights for freedoms and protections which is a forum for every people.
